In addition to managing Mad Dog, Laura Burkett has her own leather studio in Pawtucket, steps away from Mad Dog. Together with her partner Sue, they were some of the earliest members at Mad Dog. Now a full-time designer/maker herself, Laura splits her time between managing the studios and showing/selling her work at fine contemporary craft shows such as the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show, the Smithsonian Craft Show, and others. Sue Fracker is the VP of marketing for a Boston-based golf company and in her spare time, designs and produces card games, builds crossword puzzles (published in the New York Times on Tuesday, August 16, 2022), and keeps us all laughing.
